I’ve sat on this domain for years and haven’t done anything with it. Let’s change that right now. One of the most talked about stories I’ve ever done wasn’t my normal “hard news” type of piece. The late, great KCRA photographer Will Heryford found it and pitched it to me. At first, I passed. But he soon convinced me of what we could do with it. Still, neither of us knew how well this story about meat could be done, working as a team.
